Buxton ND | Weather may be similar but the spec money playing our market are total different. Back then they bought ANY commodity's. Since the first 6 months of 2011 they could care less about them.
That was a very dis-appointing close making yet another lower high both corn and beans. A short covering rally failing below the prior high is not the best sign.
It does sound VERY WET across the southern states the rest of this week. Saw alot of ground burnt down but not much planted heading kitty corner NW from New Orleans. We just can not focus on that and watch the entire corn belt. Focusing on weather troubles in one area proved to work poorly this summer.
I did get out of my long MWEN with 045 gain on Friday (had a sell stop in for a few weeks) I was hoping for .20ish
