Ontario's middle east | That is one option. You will have to be out of the long Z side of it before FND in late Nov. Another option would be to completely remove the spread. That's all going to depend on what the spread does. If the new crop is ok and we see slow farmer selling again that spread may come in again. Say it comes back to -16. You might just take the spread off and put the 8ish cents in your pocket. Which brings up the risk side of the trade. If the crop is mind boggling big that spread maybe grows out to 32c and you lose 8ish taking it off. It probably doesn't get much worse than that. There is a limit to how much carry it will build based on cost of carry. | |
