Going from 75% hedged to 50% hedged is one thing, going from 50% hedged to 25% hedged is another.
I'd be more interested in looking for sales opportunities in the 3.90 to 4.00 area.
I wouldn't consider buying back until there was something more solid then "a feeling" or "it's so low it has to go higher"
I would expect there will be both an opportunity to sell at or above $4.00 and an opportunity to buy back at sub 3.50
There is only $.08 carry between dec 16 and dec 17. If the opportunity presented itself to buy dec 17 sub at $3.50 maybe I'd consider it.
Banking on a weather problem is risky business IMO
