It's slow. Real slow.
When you look at prices of crude it's just like the discounts on wheat.
So for Bakken crude a light sweet crude the Nd vs WTI differential is about 4-5 dollars under.
The old nasty black crude heavy sour crude is 10 dollars plus under.
A lot of the old old wells, once they break down they are not getting fixed. This is the old black nasty stuff.
Two things I've learned watching the oil boys.
1. They can flat cut costs. Impressive cost cutting. I mean really impressive. Like the people that bring the carpets to wipe your feet.... Send them packing.
2. The know how to hedge, contango is there friend.
