| Just finished reading replies to my older posts and I am very thankful for all the ideas.
The 6 calves I bought are all over 3 weeks old now. Had a little hiccup with one of the calves getting scours, but got that all under control. I cant think of the exact name of the electrolyte powder we use but you just mix it with the milk and feed as is. This works great and we have loss only a very few calves after feeding with this. I am feeding the calves a bottle morning and night, with our bag calf starter and warm water fed free choice. We have about 65 bottle calves right now so these 6 make calf chores a little longer, but I am really enjoying it. My boss is real happy with how I managing them and he would like me to buy more of them. I am not planning on buying anymore until I wean the first ones or even longer.
