Eastern ND | When I looked at the pic by Trent2520, I see that the E-85 has a sign by it that says "Not a BP product". Then they price it outrageously high, and complain that they don't sell enough to make it viable. The oil companies own the gas stations-- either by name, or they are a captive by supply. Where is the Corn Growers association? Where is the Ethanol groups? They need to be combating the situations like this with better advertising. If We farmers go and talk to the station managers and voice our displeasure, that We will not darken their doors until they price E85 more in line with other gas products, maybe they will change. I find a 60+ cent difference in E85 prices in a 100 mile circle of My farm. You can't tell Me the hauling of E85 the same distance costs more then reg gas. | |
