Pittsburg, Kansas | Around ten years ago (my memory is fuzzy on time line, might have been 15), one of their top operating officers was talking and advertising in public inferring that they were on the level as FCS because they also were a "COOP". But it was left up to the listener/reader to determine what kind of a COOP they were. They did not volunteer the information that the profit benefits would go to their COOP banking owners, but they sure inferred they were the "good guys" because like FCS they were a "COOP".
It was a sneaky, slimy, play on words they used at that time to mis-represent themselves, in my opinion.
