Ran a 10 year profit and loss. Crop insurance indemnity payments plus direct payments plus co. Arc payment equals net taxable income for those 10 years. Nothing like living off the government tit. Anybody else? I think there was a sizable marketing loss payment one year.
Different set of gov't payments here but before the grain boom my acc't said most people had a larger "gov't assistance" payments than net income.......\ and then we bad mouth some welfare Mom getting $900 a month to feed 3 kids ......one of the results with crop ins., RMP,agri stability, agri-invest, ect. is it has pushed land and machinery values up as it reduces risk , it just doesn't seem right sometimes sending business ,be it a farm ,Ford motors,ect. with xx million in equity a check.....with both levels of gov't in Canada running massive defiecits inflation or bankruptcy is the only thing to bail them out ........our Premier Wynne which words cannot begin to describe wants everything to be "green energy" at any cost ,screw business or somebody wanting a job. |
