If you were not a producer would this be a good entry point, a good place to take a short position with stops?

If so, what's the difference? Why not go short on several years worth of production? Make lemonade.

I don't know about good entry points like you do though. Maybe this is not a good entry point.

Realistically, if we go to $2.60 from here, and a guy hedges 2 years at this point, over a 5 year period that will be just as good if not better for a guy than if you get a chance to sell at $4.60 in a few months and then it goes down to $2.60 and is able to stay there longer because it has more energy above balance to burn off.

Am I going to do that though? Almost certainly not. lol.
