Medicine Mound,TX
We run both a picker and a stripper. In 1 to 1.5 bale cotton I would buy a 7460 unless humidity gives you fits. You will dump more but it will be a lot cheaper. We run a picker in irrigated 2.5-4 bale cotton and get 60 acres on a good day with 1 buggy and 1 builder. You could do 80+ in 1 bale cotton. I have never been satisfied with how my picker picks 1 bale dryland cotton. It just doesn't clean it like it does the big irrigated stuff. I can get 80-100 acres a day with an 8 row 7460 in 3/4 to 1 bale cotton with 3 people.
