Pre-orficed nozzles have been around for quite some time, like 15 years. They have basically replaced regular flat fan nozzles. Air induction nozzles were the next improvement in drift control and droplet sizing. All major manufacturers (hypro, greenleaf, teejet, ABJ) produce a good nozzle with good pressure ranges. I always run Air inducted nozzles (I run hypros). I would recommend always running air induction nozzles unless you run Aim Command (can't use Air Induction nozzles).

If I was gonna choose one nozzle for all around use it would be a Hypro Guardian Air. Good coverage and still good drift control.
