| Looking in to possibly applying our own fertilizer instead of contracting it out. Never been down this road before and have almost zero knowledge of the process with spreader trucks. Our local precision guys say the AgLeader Spinner Controller is fairly simple to use.
I'm wondering how much a typical truck can hold of granular fertilizer and how many acres can be run before a refill must occur. I know most of this depends on rate of application...so for simplicity of an example, let's so we are being prescribed 40tons/acre of P or K...just want to see about what the efficiency would be as far as refilling the truck. | |
