Top middle of MO. land of green hills and grass | Voltmeter battery went dead just as I got back to the barn with it, so will regroup tomorrow and test.
The resistor...is that the little box in the small wire running to the alt? It was tested with that in place on the bench.
Other lights work. There's one of the dummy lights, I think the engine over heat light that flickers even when the machine has just been started, and is not even up to operating temp yet.
There was a note that the cluster was replaced early in its life.
