Buxton ND | I've posted some tweets here from Top Third, I'd say there pretty good with cattle. They have done quite well marketing grains the last 3 years. Yeah they did not see the drought coming in 2012 just like most others.
I met Mark Gold at CC last winter, I said to him "Your my long lost bearish Father"
Now many in NAT will remember the mistakes many of the big names in the biz had in 2012. They will NEVER forget that, some will never be able to get past that. WE ALL MAKE MISTAKES, I made some HUGE ones in 2007-08 (selling to much too early and margin calls) its learning from them,,, getting over them and moving on with marketing your crops on YOUR FARM.
There another older gentlemen that's been in the marketing biz a long time named, Dan Hueber. Very interesting man with historical price charts back to the early 1900's. This year I have a smart phone with the great camera and ask if I may take some pictures of them. | |
