Production was ramped up big-time in anticipation of earlier approval. MON breeders are not wanting stuck with all those units and are wanting to get what they can in tech fees. Once the herbicide gets approval they will go higher (next year?) The hype is that the breeding efforts the last few years has been focused on R2YX rather than R2Y they're trying to get phased out.
