5288 - 2/13/2016 08:59 Here the ground going into crp is not worth farming. I lost forty acres. Not sad at all. I was giving $150 for the 160 acre farm. Landlord know gets $165 for the sandridge and i dont have to farm it.
How surprised/shocked would you be if the landlord raised the rent on the remaining 120 acres to $200/acre?
If it was my land I'd certainly be looking to raise the rent on the good acres if the govt is paying $165 on the junk.
