If you look at the fine print below the chart it says chance of below trend yield 6 of 11 (55%) and the chances of -5% below trend is again 6 of 11 (55%). But if you look at his chart you see as well that the magnitude of the yield decline is -10 to -35 for those years. That's the message. It only happened 55% of the time but when it did it was significant.
