| Was is the rainfall or were they similar? If they were similar I'm going to throw out the idea that it was the Forrest fires in Canada this summer. There was tons of sulfur dioxide put up by these fires that was precipitated out over the few weeks we had the fires. We had a cool year up in NW Wisconsin yet the yields were huge, like nothing we have ever had. Ever since the ultra low sulfur fuels have been used sulfur deficiencies have been dramatic and we always are trying to catch up it seems like. This year was the same until we had all of the smoke. I have never seen everything as green as it was during that time period. We had at least a couple of weeks of it and were worried it was really going to cut light to the crop. So ponder that one for a while. Could be warm nights but it did not seem like it.
