Houston County, GA | I know the peach growers have a scanning system for workers that carry picking baskets back to the wagon with crates on them. Person on wagon scans everyone barcode on hats as they dump. My friend has small time black berry business. I want to say they got $6 or $8 per case they picked. I forget how many packages went into a case, but you could easily pick 3 or more of those cases an hour. All waist level work, not very hard. Mexican lady made $18 - $24 an hour.
