Eastern Iowa | Ty, with fertilizer app I like stripping headlands first but have done it last in cornstalks, or restripped headlands once finished. Sure works up slabby after driving over in the spring. Can leave clods if you don't get a rain in between stripping and planting. I don't know what's best, just get it done I guess! Always plant headlands first here, in contours it gets way more interesting anyway!
