Mississippi

If you're going to get one stuck in your head, it's a far better choice than most of the crap that floats between my two ears. From Wikipedia...

In 2010, Rolling Stone magazine's list of the "500 Greatest Songs of All Time" ranked "Wichita Lineman" at #195.[6] It has been referred to as "the first existential country song".[7] British music journalist Stuart Maconie called it "the greatest pop song ever composed";[8] and the BBC referred to it as "one of those rare songs that seems somehow to exist in a world of its own – not just timeless but ultimately outside of modern music".[9]

Two our editors -- one 25, the other 30 -- were vaguely familiar with the song, so it's not something my children would typically recognize. We did, however, drag our son to a Glen Campbell concert in Fort Worth when he was in high school (he's 26 now). I figured he wouldn't be a well-rounded person if he'd never been to see Campbell once in his life.
