Subject: Best Cover Crop Ever!

Earlton Ontario
Weve been through the whole nine yards in cover crops and nothing is as good as soybeans from my perspective. We've used peas, different clover mixes, oats, rye grass blah blah blah...

Im in a short season cool area. We lost our bean crop in 2014... Basically 35-50 bu beans left out. These abandoned bean fields were planted to spring wheat in 2015 and put up wheat crops unlike anything i've grown in the past. We did also apply our standard fertility program.

We left peas out as well in 2014 and on paper should be a better cover crop, but was not the case.... not even close!
