| I have never heard of this metric before but it's interesting.
If you're talking tractor horsepower only, we're at 0.08 HP per acre of farmed ground. This includes auger tractors.
We strip till 10% of our acres and no-till the rest. We do have self propelled sprayers so perhaps that throws it off a bit?
We are less than half of the lowest numbers listed so far. I can't imagine having as much HP as some of you mention. | |
