That's strange. Most of the non farm public I meet think I drive a Mercedes and work 3 months a year.
Checkoffs must be doing a great job here.
Seriously, farming gets a little too real for a few and everybody wants to blame the checkoffs. What are they intended for in your mind?
OP is right, bean checkoff is much larger than corn.
