Im sure at different stages paraquat would preform different. I tried it once at boot stage, using 20 gallons of water, and didn't kill it. I would say if head and stem fully extended you could get a good kill. I use Gly. with AMS, and MSO if cold, NEVER had an issue, at any stage.... knock on wood.....
