How much grain does the U.S. consume or export in a given marketing year? Do we carry 15-25% of the crop every year? I have always wondered how the market manages to keep commodity prices so low when it only takes one crop disaster to send prices soaring. Heaven help us if we ever have back to back national crop disasters.
