That detail is negotiable. In Iowa the Utilities Board has a standard offering that starts at 100% the first year and then decreases for 5 years. Far less that the actual damage in my experience. The Utilities Board also believes all the concrete made by working the soil we can be mitigated with chiseling. That didn't work on my farm either. That also doesn't cure sub soil replacing topsoil in the filling of the trench or the compaction of putting all the dirt back in the trench including the volume displaced by the pipe. I negotiated 100% crop loos for 5 years and deep directional boring to prevent soil damage.
