SE IA | My opinion is VR seeding proabbaly isn't going to gain you a lot of extra bushels. Maybe in a few places in your field whether you cut or raise population....maybe 2-5 bushel. But your seeding efficiency should improve. We are seeing consistently 6 bushel/K seeds for corn across poorly productive, average productive, and very productive ground. We can cut population and get similar yields with fewer seeds.
You might gain $5-10/acre. Lots of other places you could gain or lose that $10/acre. | |
