I've been making my own Ascend for about 4 years. It contains 3 readily available plant hormones that you can buy on Amazon or Ebay. The ingredients cost about $0.25 per acre to make the equivalent of the 6 oz. per acre rate of Ascend.

And you can raise the amount of gibberelic acid that way if you so desire to be more on the level of rhyzup.
