I know only corn on the cob recipes, which you eat with salt butter and freshly ground pepper all over it.
Keep it simple if you have good sweet corn, add a thin slice of cheese otherwise, but then have a stack of paper towels on the ready for this decadent meal...

You can also slice the kernels away from boiled corn cobs to make cream of corn soup or other dishes with sweet corn kernels. I don't know of any recipe that uses whole corn cobs, like a stew or something, except corn on the cob. That's probably because you don't want a whole corn cob on your plate, you need to separate the kernels before serving, as you can't really cut them out with a fork and a knife.

Try some variations on corn on the cob: First, you can cook them in liquids other than water, like milk, beer, wine, broth, soup. Some even cook them in butter. Then you can dip the cooked cob with different sauces, like ketchup, cheese Bechamel, curry, peanut butter, something mustardy, and/or sprinkle herbs and spices and create your new family special or register your trademark custom recipe and open franchises all over the world!
