South Central Nebraska | the 32% pre plant should be no problem, I would recommend a stabilizer or thiosul mixed with it. working the ground up should mix it up, but at the same time may create a hot spot here and there for some seeds. If you don't work the ground I would be a little scared of trying to plant 3 inches away if you are using a knife to get it into the ground, because the planter may try to jump into that trench. A lot of it is put on around here that way, but the are 7.5" or more away from where they will plant.
