On the farmalls I did, I use an Omni which worked well, but I let the restoration shop guys talk me into this, everything else i'm using including the final base and clear are going to be upper end, I want it to last my lifetime looking sharp. There theory was why use a a middle grade build primer in between the good stuff.... I will say the door panel I did the other day, that k36 sands down like a dream!
