Medicine Mound,TX | It would not go through it watering. It did go through it without water, but that doesn't help much. After it got stuck the second time we tried to go through it. We set it to turn around before it got there. It was an extreme spot with about 2 foot of silt and it wouldn't dry up. It was almost as if the water table was at the surface there. We tried to dig out the silt with the back hoe and the hole filled up with water and never dried up all summer. So we had about 20 acres of cotton that we didn't get to water. Hoping to do some scraper work this winter but it is not looking promising as far as drying up. The wheels will get stuck, but they left considerably less ruts over a season than our 11.2x38 tires. Overall I like them so far, but they are not magic by any means. They should hover over the ground for what they cost. | |
