Hardin County, IA | Check the shank for any cracks. Look at the base of the pivot and check for cracks or welds there. And just general wear parts, bushings in parallel linkages, disc openers, guage wheels, etc. A 3600 would be a much better machine but they can't be had for near as cheap as a 2600 can. I bought a really nice 12/23 2600 this spring, check it over well and it should work well. They are very easy to maintain and rebuild, same thing as the John Deere 7000 row units. Really great machines and work very well!
