We have a BLU-JET AT 3000 with a ground driven pump, 15 rows on 30" spacings. We use a regular slot disk with a knife that follows for injection.

We like it, but we find that we would like to take off the inside duals of our row-crop tractor and find a way to match the front tires with the outside duals so they are in the same row as the injector. It would also lead to less corn being run over on the ends. We also have stoney land and break a lot of shear pins, which can be problematic, but in good going the injector is great. With the ground driven pump, I'm sure you can assume that tacky soils or damp conditions are not optimal.

They are very easy to maintain and we change our disks and knives every winter, which is after roughly 1700 acres, and we make sure the pump is cleaned thoroughly.

The AT 4010 does allow for upgrades and does variable rate application and here is the link: http://www.blu-jet.com/at4010main.htm

Best of luck on your search.
