| I'm about 90% sure I lost an injector in my c10 engine today. Going down the road fine suddenly the engine runs rough, low power and blue smoke.
We will see what they find, but lest assume for the time being that at 750,000 miles it's time to replace injectors. It's a 2000 model truck.
Can you get good results putting in aftermarket oversized injectors? This engine is always doggy given the computer specs are for the "split torque" or whatever it's called that is 330/350 hp. I already talked to the shop I dropped it off at, and they would just order stock replacements from CAT, if I want to put something else in i would need to get them myself.
Anybody know of anything that might work?
This truck gets less than 10,000 miles a year right now so let's not break my piggy bank. | |
