| I have a 25kw Winco on a trailer that I bought back in 1978. Don't use it a lot but it's sure nice to have when needed. I don't recall what I paid for it but I know it was quite a bite more than $1,000 so sounds like a good deal. One thing to check is the cartridges in the fuse box. After they sit for a long time they get damp & turn into powder . I've had to replace them in ours a couple times. I have never regretted buying mine. Only problem is having to get out in bad weather to hook it up to the disconnect. Seems like the electricity never goes out unless it's below )* and windy out. I'm considering buying one of those self contained unit that comes on automatically when the electricity goes out. | |
