Subject: In honor of Ed Winkle.

Newfane NY
I never talked to him but I did get introduced to Leon Bird by him. The corn I bought from Leon gave me my first whole field 200 bu yield and my first 300 bu yield.

He did make you think of how to do things better. So I thought I would take some of his ideas and see what happens.

2014 was early Cabbage then a cover crop of sunflowers, Austrian winter peas, winter wheat, and soybeans. Planted to corn by my youngest daughter, 20, with RTK and a 12/30 White lift and rotate pulled by a 7619 Massey. She stepped up this year and planted 2200 acres this season. She does have a new 375 Versatile and 24 row on her "want list"!!!!!
