Subject: Field cultivator in no till

North Carolina
I am very dedicated to no till , to the point that I have some ground that has not been tilled for 20 + years . But due to a few factors I see some problems arisings , one all the rain we have had lately I see a lot of residue washing around and leaving bare spots that is making the ground a little rough . also we have had a few fields that have a few minor washes . I do not want to do any heavy tillage except on some terraces that need to be plowed up . Any washes I have are only short and only small amounts of soil has moved and none washed out of the fields . My question is how much damage or good would a lite pass with a field cultivator do in the spring with a spring tooth harrow or a rolling basket or drag followed with a cultipacker do . Also I feel like stirring the topsoil may mix some of the fertilizer a little deeper . Sorry for the rambling . Doug
