What's wrong with their idea of splitting the profits over your current method? Sounds like they have some skin in the game and are willing to pony up if they fail to provide u a ROI, but also want the skeptical farmer to be willing to share in their successes if they perform as described.

I like the idea personally. Wish some seed corn companies would do the same. But they sell enough unguaranteed they don't need to do stuff like that
