NW IN | Dr. Gary Sands up at MN as a very nice formula for calculating spacing, depth, and size on laterals.
It's vey complex and soil type has a huge impact. Thinking there were 5 or 6 variables so if you fudge one way or another on any given variable, it can have a huge impact.
Soil is what it is...are you 40% clay at 36" or 50% sand? I've seen both in a 1000' lateral in a field where the top 24" was as uniform as cold be. FWIW | |
