African violets have a very unusual climate requirement, night temperatures should be 68 to 70 degrees F for most rapid vegetative growth. That's not your standard GDD stuff but it makes for a lot of GDDs, if anyone wants to calculate them. They just happened to be growing in a convenient place to test the data logger, so I called that test African violet climate.
