Manitoba | I know hard water can be a problem but with ours it was a little bit of coffee grounds getting into the water tank and blocking something in its plumbing. Ours became extremely slow to the point of not really working. When I discovered this issue online I took mine to the shop and forced compressed air into the hole at the bottom of the water tank. Had to use a small length of copper tubing to reach it. On ours this usually blows one of the rubber tubes off a metal tube inside the bottom of the coffee maker. So then I have to open up the bottom to fix that. Wrecked 2 of the 4 screws that hold the bottom together but after blowing it out it works like new again. Have done it twice now in about 5 years. Its a Cuisinart. | |
