Here is my two cents, I have never fooled with portable dryers. Only tower dryers. From my experience, you can't dry rice in a corn dryer, But, you can dry corn in a rice dryer. So, maybe this will let you have some questions to find out to make a decision. Crowville put in a new dryer to dry rice but use it on corn.
