Subject: RE: What is a 4400 JD combine worth?

NW Iowa. / SW Arizona
That was my first combine I bought back in "78", very distinctly remember my dad riding with me on my first trip around a soybean field and made it about 3/4 around when I plugged it. Ahhh found memories,,,,,, of my dad not the combine,,,,,,, sure wish I coold have him riding with me one more time.

Personally if you can find one I'd look for a good 6600 or better yet a 6620, that was a great combine for its era. I have no idea what either is worth anymore.

In reality I wouldn't spend a whole lot on an older combine, for 100 acres can you find a neighbor close by that can do your combineing for you? At least you don't have to worry about repairs and etc., you will know exactly what your threshing cost will be every year.

Good luck with your search.
