the more I study bacteria and the environment it needs to stay alive. (Food, air, temp, ect) I wonder if it's dead before the beans make it to the field.

So I'm going back to planting naked beans.

Pic is from this year of untreated beans. They had 400# of ams applied (split up between fall, preplant, top dress) so 84# of actual N and the beans still produced thier own N. The trial went 60.9 bu.
