That is what we do on a limited acreage. We just drive on the previous row and split them. Usually plant 30-32 but we plant the silage corn at 38 or so. The planter is set at 18 something when we do this.

Custom guy has a kemper head so no worries if the chopper can get it. He said it was a mega difference in tonnage this year.
