Subject: RE: self treating soybeans

Geuda Springs, Kansas
i charge $3 per unit to innoculate. Most of my customers who used to innoculate themselves through an auger tell me my treater setup is much more accurate than theirs and they spend the same or less money on innoculant when I do it versus them through the seed tender. Also this fungicide and insecticide is so expensive that unless you have a seed wheel, flow meter and good seed treating equipment your costs can get out of hand by doing it yourself if you over apply very much. On soybeans seed size is a pretty big deal to getting everything calibrated correctly. Just my thoughts for what it is worth
