Subject: RE: Applying my own nh3

Farmington IL
This was a 13 knife bar set on 30" centers. I turned it into a 10 knife bar set on 36" centers. Still 30 feet but pulls easy enough for the 4630 to handle it. The only big tractor I have is a 875 versy and it is usually busy doing heavy tillage. My other main tractors are a pair of two wheel drive magnums. A 7120 and 8920. I have pulled a 12 knife with those and that is a load as well. This 10 knife set up will let me run it on any of those three tractors and the 875 if I really wanted. If I had a 200hp mfd tractor it would be a moot point. I dont need a tractor that size to plant or spray, barely use my auger wagon and with and the ole versy is doing a nice job on the ripper and 40ft cultivator and I dont want to spend the money for another tractor.
