NE Nebraska | We send a basket w/ fruit, nuts, a few small candies with a note saying thanks for letting us rent the ground. Generally send it first part of November.
Try to avoid anything extremely perishable since we never know when some might be gone for a day or two. And we need to keep track of which home they might be at. (winter vs. summer)
We have several elderly landlords that wouldn't be able to get away to use a gift card.
We had the discussion on whether this should be the year to discontinue it; however we get some really nice thank-you's and letters in return which brings as much joy to us as the gift to them.
